Do I need a permit or business license to recycle electronics or metals?
In most cases, no permit or business license is required when recycling ferrous metals or computers. This makes it easy for households, businesses, and organizations to recycle eligible electronics without unnecessary paperwork or delays.
If you’re unsure whether your specific items require documentation, our team can quickly confirm the requirements for your area.

Where do I get a metals permit if one is required?
If a permit is needed for certain materials, you can obtain it through the Sheriff’s Office in the county where you reside. These permits are free of charge and typically expire after two years, making compliance straightforward and affordable.
We’re happy to guide you through the process and help determine whether a permit applies to your materials.
What types of electronics do you accept for recycling?
We accept a wide range of residential and commercial electronics, including computers, servers, phones, tablets, AV equipment, cables, and more. Items are evaluated individually to determine whether they can be dismantled or responsibly recycled.
If you’re unsure whether an item is accepted, just ask. We provide real answers from real people, not automated systems.
How is my data protected during the recycling process?
Data security is a top priority. All data-bearing devices go through a secure process depending on your needs. We accept certificates of destruction for added assurance and compliance support.

For clients requiring additional security, physical shredding of storage media is available upon request.

Note: Certificates of destruction and shredding of materials must be requested before pickup or drop off of materials. There will also be an additional fee for these.

Do you accept pickup services or do I need to drop items off?

Yes, we pay for qualifying electronic materials based on their value. However, please note that we do not pay for or cover shipping and pickup costs, we only pay for the materials themselves.

Do you pay for electronic waste?

Yes. Many electronic items contain valuable materials, and we pay for most qualifying electronics. By offering cash-back incentives, we encourage responsible recycling while helping keep reusable materials out of landfills.
